Bioré is a skincare brand that targets the root of all our skin problems – clogged pores – with innovative technologies. Their powerful, pore-cleansing products come in liquid, foam, scrub, mask, and strip forms to keep your skin clean and healthy. The brand came to TikTok in order to raise awareness with a new audience, while further driving new website traffic.
In partnership with aidem agency in the Netherlands, Bioré was among the first businesses to use TikTok Ads Manager – our powerful self-serve advertising platform available to businesses of all sizes. Together, Bioré and aidem agency launched a collection of In-Feed Ads, appearing natively in users’ For You feeds, as well as a collection of Spark Ads. Spark Ads enable businesses to boost their own organic posts, or the content of other Creators.
Originally launching an awareness campaign, the brand targeted a broad audience, and tested a number of different creatives, so that they could gather learnings for future campaigns. Based on these learnings, aidem agency and Bioré then launched a traffic campaign, cleverly targeting users that had shown interest in the first campaign with an irresistible offer.
Bioré is a big advocate for fun, authentic, real content which was front and centre in the ad creative, feeling completely native to TikTok. With aidem agency having extensive experience in content creation and paid marketing, the ads utilised plenty of TikTok transitions and trends, keeping them entertaining, while still delivering an important message about the common skin problems that Bioré can help resolve. The campaign was a huge success for Bioré, generating over 8 million impressions. The brand saw more clicks on their TikTok ads in one day than they did in two weeks on other platforms, achieving over 53,000 clicks at a cost per click of only €0.11. To top it all off, during the time the campaign was live, the Bioré products temporarily sold out from the landing page that the ads clicked-through to and the brand saw an increase in almost 1,500 new followers to their TikTok profile.
